2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA). Technically necessary data (e.g. IP address) is processed when the site is accessed, based on our legitimate interest in secure and efficient operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with Vercel, which also covers transfers to the USA on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

3. Cookies and consent

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the site. Optional cookies (e.g. for future web analytics) are only set if you explicitly consent via the cookie banner. Your choice is stored in a cookie ("bfg-consent") and can be changed or withdrawn at any time via the cookie settings. Legal basis for non-essential cookies is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

4. Contact and project inquiries

If you contact us via the contact or project inquiry form, we process the data you provide to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR). We use Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) as a processor to deliver inquiry emails. Data is deleted once no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Web analytics

This website currently uses no web analytics, tracking or profiling services. Should analytics services be introduced in future, this will happen only after your prior consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and this policy will be updated accordingly beforehand.

6. Fonts

Fonts are served locally from our own server (self-hosted via next/font). No connection to third-party font servers is made and no personal data is transmitted to font providers.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object. You may withdraw consent at any time and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
