The controller for data processing on this website is:

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). Technically necessary data (e.g. IP address) is processed when the site is accessed, based on our legitimate interest in secure and efficient operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place. Confirm region and DPA.

3. Cookies and consent

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the site and — only with your consent — analytics cookies. On your first visit a cookie banner lets you choose whether analytics cookies are set. Your choice is stored in a cookie ("bfg-consent") and can be changed or withdrawn at any time via the cookie settings. Legal basis for non-essential cookies is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

4. Contact and project inquiries

If you contact us via the contact or project inquiry form, we process the data you provide to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR). We use Resend as a processor to deliver inquiry emails. Data is deleted once no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply. Confirm retention periods.

5. Newsletter

Newsletter sign-up uses a double opt-in process. Legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time. We use newsletter provider, e.g. Brevo as a processor.

6. Web analytics

Where enabled and consented to, we use analytics (e.g. Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation, Microsoft Clarity) that load only after your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). This may involve transfers to the USA. Keep only if these services are actually enabled.

7. Fonts

Fonts are served locally from our own server (self-hosted via next/font). No connection to third-party font servers is made and no personal data is transmitted to font providers.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object. You may withdraw consent at any time and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
